Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 1, 2025
oddthree ("we", "us", "our") operates oddthree.com and the apps Breeze, Floravia, and Typefast (the "Services"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We built these apps to be useful — not to harvest your data. We collect as little as possible and never sell it.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following when you use the Services:
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration. Collected anonymously via analytics.
- Account data — if you create an account: your email address and a hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
- App data you enter — for example, breathing session logs in Breeze, cycle data in Floravia, or typing scores in Typefast. This data is stored locally in your browser or synced to your account if you opt in.
- Contact form submissions — your name, email address, and message when you contact us.
Health Data (Floravia)
Floravia collects menstrual cycle, symptom, and related health information you choose to enter. This data is sensitive. It is:
- Stored locally on your device by default.
- Only synced to our servers if you explicitly enable cloud backup.
- Never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build profiles.
- Encrypted at rest and in transit if synced.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser local storage to save your preferences and progress (e.g., streak counts, settings). We do not use third-party tracking cookies. We may use first-party cookies for session management if you have an account.
Advertising — Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on some pages of this site and on our app subdomains (breeze.oddthree.com, floravia.oddthree.com, typefast.oddthree.com). Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites across the internet.
Specifically, Google may use the DoubleClick cookie to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other websites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or by visiting aboutads.info.
Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's advertising policies. For more information on how Google collects and processes data, please see Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar local storage technologies for the following purposes:
- Essential cookies: Used for session management if you have an account, and to remember your preferences within our apps.
- Advertising cookies: Google AdSense sets cookies to serve relevant ads. These cookies may track your browsing activity across sites that use Google's advertising network.
- Analytics cookies: We may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g., Plausible) that counts page visits without tracking individual users or setting third-party cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling advertising cookies will not remove ads — it will make them less relevant to your interests.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services:
- Google Fonts — serves fonts from Google's servers. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Google AdSense — displays advertising on our pages. See the Advertising section above for full details.
- Analytics — we may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not track individuals or use third-party cookies.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Services.
- To respond to contact form messages.
- To send product updates if you subscribe (you can unsubscribe at any time).
We do not sell your data to third parties. Full stop.
Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Contact form messages are retained for up to 12 months. You can request deletion at any time.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@oddthree.com.
Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
